In the fall of 2004, Combined Jewish Philanthropies convened a special task force to look at the issue of aging and to determine how to best help members of the community find access to the resources needed by Jewish seniors.
Launched in the fall of 2005, CJP SeniorDirect is the result of this work, a professionally staffed telephone information and referral service and augmented by a website.
